Jason Kidd tells player to “Hit Me”, to force timeout

Brooklyn Nets Head Coach Jason Kidd has done the unthinkable.

In the Nets loss Wednesday night to the Lakers, they needed an extra timeout and Kidd told Tyshawn Taylor (Point Guard)  to, “Hit Me”. The purpose of the hit as you’ll see in the video above was to delay the game.

Kidd in a postgame press conference said, “The cup slipped out of my hand I was getting Ty”, and claims he had “Sweaty palms. I was never good with the ball”.

The Nets went on to lose to the Lakers 99-94. This puts them at 4-11.

Coach Kidd is now being fined by the NBA $50,000. The league said the fine was “for intentionally spilling a drink on the floor to delay the game.”

Maybe this will teach Kidd a lesson.
