Miami Heat 2012 NBA Champions

The Miami Heat become the 2012 NBA Champions for the second time in their franchise history.

“It’s about damn time!” LeBron James said after finally becoming an NBA Champion. Even though it took James nine long years, the King finally has a ring with the help of his teammates.

Winning four straight games against a young Oklahoma City Thunder team was not easy. Falling behind one game in the series the Miami Heat knew they had to win one on the road. And eventually finish the job at home.

James, who uttered the phrase, “I’m going to take my talents to South Beach” when he announced he was leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers after seven seasons to sign with Miami, now has his first championship by recording a triple-double.

A future Hall of Fame, James also won Finals MVP. He finished the season winning League MVP. ( who better to do then LBJ )

Dwyane Wade who has been going through a lot with his ex-wife did not let that affect his performance. The team as whole played a great game.

Congratulations to the 2012 NBA Champions the Miami Heat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Miami Heat 2012 Eastern Conference Champions

2012 Eastern Conference Champions

The Miami Heat advance to the NBA Finals, where they will be facing the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Beating the Boston Celtics in seven games was not easy for a team who fell behind 3-2.

LeBron James who played big, in games six and seven didn’t let his team down, scoring 25 points or more in each game of the series. Chris Bosh coming off of an injury hit 3 three pointers, for the first time in his NBA career.

Coach Erik Spoelstra comes out during the press conference to say “I guess that’s what a seven-game Eastern Conference series is supposed to be like. It was good to see us come together in a very competitive series.”

The Heat’s Big Three (Bosh, James and Wade) scored the final 30 points for Miami to clinch a second consecutive trip to the NBA Finals.

Congratulations to The Miami Heat.
